Delivery areas

Société des Boutiques delivers to mainland France, throughout the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

For any other destination, please contact us at contact@harold-paris.com: we review requests on a case-by-case basis and will send you a quote.

Delivery address

Delivery is made to the address indicated by the customer when ordering. For home delivery, this must be a valid residential or work address: delivery to post office boxes and hotels is not possible.

At a pickup point, the parcel is held for the period indicated by the carrier, usually 10 to 14 days. After this period, it is automatically returned to us and a new shipment will be charged.

The customer must ensure that all information needed for successful delivery is complete and accurate: street number, building, floor, access codes, name on the intercom, mobile phone number.

If the information is incomplete or incorrect, Société des Boutiques may not be held liable for any delay or failed delivery. A new shipment following an incorrect address may be charged.

Delivery times

The times below include order processing and transit. They are given for guidance only and run from validation of payment.

Destination Estimated time
France – pickup point 2 to 5 working days
France – home delivery 2 to 4 working days
European Union 3 to 7 working days
United Kingdom and Switzerland 5 to 10 working days (customs clearance included)

In accordance with Article L. 216-1 of the French Consumer Code, delivery takes place no later than thirty days after conclusion of the contract. If this period is exceeded, the customer may, after giving formal notice that has remained without effect, terminate the contract and obtain a refund of the sums paid.

Société des Boutiques may not be held liable for any delay attributable to the carrier or to customs authorities.

Order tracking

A shipping confirmation email with a tracking number is sent as soon as the parcel is collected by the carrier.

Customs duties and taxes

European Union: no additional charges. Displayed prices include French VAT and no customs duties are payable.

United Kingdom and Switzerland: displayed prices do not include local VAT, customs duties or clearance fees. These amounts are payable by the recipient and settled directly with the carrier at the time of delivery.

The amounts depend on the order value and on the regulations in force in the destination country. We encourage customers concerned to check with their customs authorities before ordering.

A refusal to pay these charges resulting in the parcel being returned does not give rise to a refund of the original delivery costs.

Damaged or incomplete parcels

If a parcel is damaged, already open or incomplete, the customer is invited to raise reservations with the carrier at the time of delivery, then to contact Société des Boutiques within 3 working days of receipt at contact@harold-paris.com, attaching photos of the parcel and its contents where possible.

This step helps us process the case but is not a condition for exercising the legal guarantees, which remain available to the customer in all cases.

Returns

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except where the product is defective, damaged or does not match the order, in which case they are covered in full by Société des Boutiques.

Full details are set out in our return policy.
