Size Guide
Choosing the right size is essential to be comfortable in your clothes and to highlight your figure. This size guide helps you find the right size and fit based on your measurements and what suits you.
Correspondence tables by clothing type
At Harold, our selection includes several European brands and mainly brands with Scandinavian inspiration. These brands may fit differently compared to French or international standards, notably Les Deux and Samsøe Samsøe.
However, this is not an absolute rule: some models fit normally.
To avoid any confusion, we try to specify as much as possible on each product page the specifics of the item (size, cut, ...). If you have any doubt or question, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Clothing
(T-shirts, shirts, polos, sweaters, jackets, coats)
Tops
To choose your tops well, measure your bust: place a tape measure under your armpits, flat and without tightening, then refer to the measurement in the chart.
(Chinos, jeans, shorts, cargos)
Stockings
To measure, place the tape measure around your natural waist, at the level where you usually wear your pants, then refer to the chart.
(Blazers, pants, and vests)
The costumes
Generally, the sizes of our suits are expressed in "Italian size".
Tips:
- To find your suit blazer size, simply measure your chest circumference. The equivalences between systems (FR, IT, UK/US) are all based on this.
- For three-piece suit vests, generally plan for one size larger than the blazer.
The shoes
The shoe size corresponds to the length of the foot in centimeters. To measure, place your foot on a sheet of paper, trace the outline, and measure the distance from the heel to the longest toe.
Accessories
Belts
Belts are measured in centimeters, from the buckle to the middle hole. To choose, base yourself on your waist size or your pants size.
Gloves
Gloves are measured around the hand, just below the finger joints, excluding the thumb (palm width).
To choose the right size, base yourself on the circumference of your hand and consult the corresponding chart. Contact us if needed.
You now have all the keys to understand and correctly choose your men's clothing sizes.
Keep in mind that the fit also plays an essential role and can vary significantly depending on the brands and the style of the garment. To explore this topic further, we invite you to consult our dedicated article on the different clothing fits.
